Serstech SERS Kit

Industry-leading Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy

The Serstech SERS kit is used together with Serstech Arx mkII to identify trace amounts of chemicals, dark coloured substances or mixtures with very low concentrations. The device is capable of detecting very low amounts of “street quality” narcotics samples, including heroin and many fentanyl variants. The Serstech SERS kit is based on patent pending technology used together with disposable SERS surfaces.

With the SERS kit and the TraSERSwab, micrograms and microliters of samples can be collected from surfaces, and then be identified. This capability can be useful for identifying traces of narcotics in emptied plastic bags, or trace amounts left on tables of other surfaces.

Using our patented SERS technology, the signals from substances are amplified up to 100,000 times, while fluorescence is being reduced. The solution enables identification of samples that are normally far out of reach for any handheld Raman instrument. With the tiny SERS kit in your pocket, you essentially bring a highly capable chemistry lab into the field.
